Holy Eggs

When I was in second grade at summer camp, I learned how to make this recipe. 
Recently I saw it in a cookbook and started laughing. 
It is so simple and delicious! 
Plus, I think it has to be a healthy way to start the morning. 
(you will see why…only half of bread)
I don’t have kids, but if you do I am sure it will be a hit. 
Try it out and let me know how it goes!!! 

You will need: bread, butter, eggs, salt and pepper.

First step is to use a cup or cookie cutter to take
 a hole out of a slice of bread. 

Next, butter a skillet and cook the bread for about a minute. 

Add one egg to each whole.
I prefer egg whites which work just as good!

Cook the eggs until they are done, then flip.
I like to salt and pepper each side.

 If you want to get fancy you can throw a slice of cheese on top.
