Sleepless in Seattle…

May 16th

Seattle.

Quite possibly one of my favorite new cities.

This past weekend we traveled up north for a friend’s wedding.

Sidenote–thank you to friends who get married so I get to travel.

Keep em coming!!!

Anyways, I went to Seattle in high school for a day…don’t remember much.

This time was such an amazing experience and so much fun!

We lucked out with no rain until the last night.

With two beautiful days of sunshine there was a lot of exploring to do.

The first thing I noticed about Seattle is it is a city of “flights”.

Wine Flights.

Sushi Flights.

Beer Flights.

Scotch Flights.

You name it and there are flights!

Being a lover of trying many things this was right up my alley.

Why have one glass of wine when you can try four?

Another thing?

Pike Place Market is the COOLEST place EVER!!

Besides catching a fish (yes I did! see HERE) there was so much to explore.

Beautiful flowers.

Crab, shrimp and ceviche cups.

Deep fried donuts hot off the oil.

Sweet and salty nuts.

More beer flights.

And the original Starbucks.

After a night of fun at the Purple Cafe Wine Bar and The Brooklyn

(best steak I have ever had!!)

we ran the city in the morning.

This was a great way to see even more of such a beautiful city.

From the piers to downtown Seattle is clean, friendly and full of things to do.

Hopefully I will be coming back!!!
