P-Dub’s Cinnamon Rolls

May 25th

We all know I am a HUGE fan of The Pioneer Woman…aka Ree Drummond.

But if you are a follower, borderline crazy stalker like me…she is P-Dub.

When I got her cookbook for Christmas it was so exciting!

I started with the now infamous Jalapeno Poppers.

Now I have moved on to another favorite…..cinnamon rolls.

She warns these will be dealy.

That they will have people knocking on your doors for a batch.

And I think she was right.

These are BEYOND amazing and actually quite simple.

The original recipe can be found here, but check out my steps.

You will thank me for spreading this to you.

I promise.

MAKING THE DOUGH

Flour, milk, oil, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt and yeast.

Pour milk...Add oil...

And sugar...

Cook on medium heat (but not allowed to boil), then let cool to luke warm.

Once cooled add yeast...

Some more flour..

Baking soda, baking powder and salt...

*use the dough right away or cover and keep in the refrigerator*

MAKING THE ROLLS

Roll out the dough on a floured surface...

Spread melted butter (never enough!)

Sprinkle some sugar (again never enough)

And now the cinnamon....it gets messy!

Let me see you roll!!!

Cut and place into buttered (and I mean buttered) pan

Bake until golden brown.

MAKING THE FROSTING

the original recipe calls for maple and coffee, but my family was not a fan

instead i added extra cinnamon to the frosting!

Some milk...

And powerded sugar plus dabble of cinnamon.

What's up P-Dub!?! Sorry for my grub look...it was Sunday..

DRUMROLL PLEASE….

The finished product!!!
