Making Meatballs

Jun 21st

We’ve established I married an Italian right?

Well in case you didn’t know….I did.

One of the basic rules in the kitchen I need to learn was making meatballs.

And can I tell you how incredibly easy it is?

So simple!!!

Well last weekend I made them for my Italian grandparents-in-law.

(say that 10 times fast)

And I got the seal of approval!

Try these out and let me know what you think.

Add them to my favorite pasta sauce (here) and homemade pasta (here)

Start with a pound of ground beef and a pound of ground pork.

Add 1/4 cup of chopped parsley.

A cup of bread crumbs.

A cup of grated Parmesan cheese. (a little more doens’t hurt)

Half cup of milk.

Chop one large white onion and six cloves of garlic. Cook until soft, then cool and add.

Add two eggs.

Time to get down and dirty! Mix it all together. This will be cold!

Roll into golf bowls and place on greased cookie sheet.

Baked at 425 degrees for about 25-30 minutes (or until browned)

Add to your pasta sauce then served with a fresh bowl of pasta. (boxed pasta works too)
