In The Kitchen: Brie Pesto Bowl

Sep 8th

Looking yummy right?

Do you ever need a quick and easy appetizer with little to no preparation?

I do!! Thanks to my wedding cookbook I have lots of options to choose from.

This recipe was created by my in-laws and I love it!

It’s so simple, delicious and fast!

When we had some company over last minute I ran to the store to grab the few ingredients needed.

Follow these easy steps and let me know if you would make it!

Grab a jar of pesto, a wheel of brie, a round bread “bowl” and some pine nuts.

Slice the top of the bread off.

Take the rind off the brie and cut into cubes. Mix with the pesto.

Throw in some pine nuts. I used a 1/2 cup. (sorry for blur)

Carve out the bread bowl then place the pesto/cheese mixture inside.

Put the top of the bread back on then sprinkle olive oil and salt around the bread.

Bake at 375 for about 15-20 minutes until the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
