Cookies, cookies, cookies!

Dec 10th

This last weekend I decided to bake some cookies. Well, I will give you the back story. Every year my Aunt Dana in Ohio sends our family a big box of cookies. They are to die for. My favorite in the bunch are her mint brownies and peanut butter kiss cookies. I have notoriously been known to scout out the mailman and hide the box somewhere in the house. Unfortunately I have not been at the house the past couple years so my plans had failed. So in order to be able to have them whenever I want, my aunt donated her recipes to our wedding cookbook. And boy was that a bad idea!! I know make them quite often and my jeans are not loving that. So in reverse tradition this year, I baked cookies to send to her this year. Not as good of course, but it was done with love!! And while baking, I made some tins for my family, including the new. I will share the peanut butter kiss recipe!!! :)

Combine the following ingredients:
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Before (3times the recipe here)

After

Roll into balls, roll balls in sugar. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Top with chocolate Kiss (I also liked to do peanut butter cups!) immediately upon removal from oven.

Voila!!!!
